Anne Heche's memoir, Call Me Crazy, is set to be released just months after her death.

The book, which was co-written with journalist and author Elizabeth Hayt, will detail the actress' life, including her struggles with mental illness.

"I want people to know that it's OK to not be OK," Heche told People magazine in an interview about the book.

"And that if you're not OK, you can get help and there is hope."

Heche also spoke about her relationship with Ellen DeGeneres, saying that the couple "loved each other very much."

"I think it's important for people to know that we were two women who loved each other," she said.

"We didn't have to hide our relationship."

Heche also opened up about her father's abuse, and how it led her to develop dissociative identity disorder.
