 According to reports, actress Olivia Colman will be taking on the role of Queen Elizabeth II, after Claire Foy's departure from the show.

The search is still on for an actor to play Prince Philip, with rumors circulating that James Norton could be taking on the role.

According to The Telegraph, the Oscar-winning actress will don the iconic role for seasons three and four of the hit Netflix show.

It is not known who will take over from Matt Smith as Prince Philip, with reports suggesting that James Norton could be in the running for the role.

The news comes after it was revealed that the show's creator, Peter Morgan, is planning to write 10 seasons of The Crown.

In an interview with Radio Times, he said: 'I feel that when we reach season six, it might well be time to reappraise where we are in the story.
