In an interview with The Daily Beast, Oscar-winning director Oliver Stone discussed his new film, ‘Snowden,’ and the importance of nuclear energy. “

I think we need to get away from the mentality of fear when it comes to nuclear energy,” Stone said.

“Nuclear accidents happen, but the risk is so much lower than the risk of climate change.”

Stone noted that nuclear power is “the most efficient way to generate electricity,” and argued that it is “a clean energy source.”

The director also spoke about the need for “more public education” on the topic of nuclear energy.

“We need to have a public discussion about this,” Stone said.“

The director noted that while nuclear accidents “are very scary,” the world needs to find a way to get away from its dependence on fossil fuels. “

I think nuclear energy is something we have to explore because it may be the only clean.
